Private Law A

Private Law A is part of the Swedish-taught Study Programme in Law (Juristprogrammet) at Stockholm University. The course provides an introduction to core areas of private law, including tort law, contract law (general and specific), the law of obligations and promissory notes, property law, and general principles of patrimonial law.

The course in Private Law A is a mandatory course within the Study Programme in Law (Juristprogrammet) and the Bachelor of Legal Science (Filosofie kandidatexamen i rättsvetenskap) at Stockholm University.

Private Law A is the first course in a series of private law courses taught in Swedish at Stockholm University. It introduces students to key areas of patrimonial law, including tort law, contract law (general and specific), the law of obligations and promissory notes, and property law. The course also explores the social, economic, and international dimensions of these legal fields.
