The summer course Copyright in the Digital Market provides an overview of copyright protection in the online environment.

Copyright in the Digital Market is given as an elective course within the framework of the summer programme at the Department of Law, Stockholm University. Read more about the Summer Programme at SULaw on the following page:
The course covers copyright areas, such as economic and moral rights of copyright and neighbouring rights holders’, liability of online intermediaries for copyright infringement, and
relationship between users and copyright holders. Particular emphasis is placed on the increasing role of enforcement of copyright online. Private law mechanisms and self-governing systems in copyright protection and other "softer" forms of cooperation, such as dialogue between users and copyright holders, are also addressed.

Teaching Format
Instruction is given in the form of lectures and seminars. A more detailed description of the course content is available in the course description and course schedule.
Assessment
Examination is conducted through active participation in all teaching and a written examination.
