Constitutional Law

The course in Constitutional Law is part of the Swedish-taught Study Programme in Law (Juristprogrammet) at Stockholm University. It explores the Swedish system of government, the constitutional framework, and the functions of the highest state bodies.

The course in Constitutional Law is a mandatory course within the Study Programme in Law (Juristprogrammet) and the Bachelor of Legal Science (Filosofie kandidatexamen i rättsvetenskap) at Stockholm University and is taken early in the studies, alongside the courses Legal Introduction and European Law. It covers the constitutional foundations of the Swedish legal system, including the roles of the highest state bodies—primarily the Parliament and the Government.
