Human Geography II – course package Population and Gender
The course package may constitute the second semester of a Bachelor's degree with a major in Human Geography.
The first two courses are research-oriented specialisation courses. Students who wish to choose a different combination of specialisation courses may apply for a different course package – Human Geography II: Population and Migration, Human Geography II: Landscape and Environment or Human Geography II: Globalisation and Cities – or apply for individual courses separately. In that case, apply for one specialisation course for part A of the semester, one for part B, Social Scientific and Spatial Methods, and Essay in Human Geography.
The course package consists of the following modules:
Gender and Geography, 7.5 credits (taught in English)
Housing, Segregation and Moves, 7.5 credits
Assessment
Assessment criteria are specified in the course syllabus for each individual module.
