Work Experience in Urban and Regional Planning
The aim of the course is to give the student an insight into the working life for urban and regional planners in order to make him/her employable.
The course includes an internship related to urban and regional planning.

It requires 150 credits including a degree project, 15 credits, in urban and regional planning or 15 credits within the Master’s Programme in Urban and Regional Planning.
The student will reflect for one thing on the industry (s)he is being educated for and in what way his/her own education answers to the competences required at the practice work-place, for another the opportunities and limitations present at the practice work-place and the choices and prioritizations made. Furthermore the student will reflect on the relations between the work-place and the wider society. The student will keep a journal of his/her time at the practice work-place.
The student is responsible for arranging their own internship placement. Prior to commencing the internship, it must be approved by the course coordinator.
