The Premodern history of China
Basic historiographic methods and traditions will be studied, as well as the most important sources. The premodern history of China will be investigated both from a Western and a Chinese perspective.
The course consists of one module, 7.5 credits.

Instruction is given in the form of lectures.
Instruction is given in the language specified for each respective course instance.
Attendance at all teaching sessions is mandatory.

Assessment
The course examined on the basis of a digital home exam by the end of the course.
When the course is offered in English, the language of examination is English.
