Doing Art History and Heritage Studies

The aim of this course is to open up approaches to art history and cultural heritage studies as research fields and practices within and beyond academia.

Through seminars and field studies in collections and archives, students examine and independently work with different categories of material and relevant methods in art
history and cultural heritage studies.

Teaching Format

The teaching consists of lectures, seminars, study visits, and field studies.

Assessment

The course is assessed through oral presentations, a project assignment, and a written assignment.
