Constructing a language

This course explores the processes underlying children's language aquisition.

Based on either phonological, grammatical, or pragmatic theory, the child's development during the early years is described, as well as how this development interacts with the surrounding environment.



Teaching Format

Teaching is provided exclusively in the form of seminars. It is conducted either online or on campus, as specified for each session.

The language of instruction (English or Swedish) is determined by the specific session. For more detailed information, please refer to the course description.


Assessment

The course is assessed through continuous written assignments, an oral presentation, and written peer feedback.

Examiner

The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course. We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course, your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course.


Note that the course literature can be changed up to two months before the start of the course.
