Scientific Communication and Research Methodology
These include:
- finding research topics, research problems and specific research questions,
- finding conflicting scientific literature,
- reasoning and structuring an argument on different levels,
- presentation techniques,
- quoting, referencing and paraphrasing Page 1 of 3,
- data types, collecting data, data analysis,
- quantitative methods and analyses and
- qualitative methods and analyses.
Teaching Format
The teaching consists of an introductory lecture and supervision sessions. The language of instruction is English.
Assessment
The course is examined through assignments and on-campus written exam.
All examination tasks must be performed and submitted on time according to the schedule of the current course. A missed or incomplete examination can be re-submitted at a newly scheduled time window.
Alternatively, the student will have to follow the schedule of the next course round.
