Dutch, Master's (120 credits) Course
The course includes the writing of a Master’s thesis (30 credits). An oral defence of the thesis at a seminar and an oral opposition to another student's thesis are included. The aim of the course is to further develop the student's ability in scientific writing.
The course is useful for all professions and jobs where advanced knowledge of the Dutch language, Dutch-language literature and the culture of the Dutch-speaking countries, as well as advanced skills in scientific text production are required or a competitive advantage.
This course is taught in Dutch.
This course can be taken as an independent course at advanced level but it is also one of the compulsory courses for students that want to obtain a Master’s Degree (120 credits) in Dutch. Read more about our master and courses at advanced level here:
Teaching Format
Instruction is given in the form of thesis supervision (individual or in group).
The language of instruction is Dutch.
Assessment
The course is examined by means of a written thesis, ventilation of the thesis and opposition to another student's thesis.
