Master's Thesis
The Master’s thesis is a written work of between 30 000 to 40 000 words. The thesis is an individual piece of work based on a topic chosen in consultation with a Departmental supervisor. The thesis can be based on archival work or a short period of fieldwork carried out the previous term or, on occasion, during the writing of the thesis itself. The thesis normally requires one term of full-time work.
The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course.
We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course,
your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course.
Note that the course literature can be changed up to two months before the start of the course.
