Statistics and data analysis III


The course provides you with theoretical and practical tools to continue developing your knowledge and understanding in statistics and data analysis. The course is a direct continuation of the courses Statistics and Data Analysis I and II and provides in-depth and expanded knowledge in probability theory, statistical inference theory, as well as basic sample theory and design-based inference. The course connects theoretical derivations with practical applications using programming in R and provides a deeper understanding of statistical models and methods.

Great emphasis is placed on a critical approach to the use of statistical methods, interpretation of results and the usability of different models, but also on practical data management and analysis through programming in R. Most upcoming courses at the department are based more or less on content from this course.
