Bachelor’s Thesis in Statistics
The course mainly includes independent statistical work within a statistical field of work. The choice of field is based on the student's interest and/or on the suggestion of the supervisor.
The course provides knowledge about planning, implementing and reporting one's own work, in terms of processing both theoretical and practical problems, as well as knowledge in scientific and investigative activities. The course also provides knowledge about how to critically review statistical work, what scientific literature exists in the field and how to search for references, how to organize and write a scientific report, and how to orally present one's results.
The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course.
We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course,
your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course.
Note that the course literature can be changed up to two months before the start of the course.
