New Dramaturgies II
Particular focus is placed on issues of equality, diversity and inclusion by incorporating dramaturgies which are, for example, anchored in Indigenous, ecological or young audiences' perspectives. The course studies intercultural and transnational dramaturgies in the performing arts for both young and adult people where several languages, cultures and generations meet and collaborate. Furthermore, oral dramaturgies and narrative techniques (story-telling) which are anchored in decolonization projects or migration experiences are studied. Finally, the course also addresses how ecodramaturgy takes into account issues of sustainability.
Teaching Format
Teaching consists of lectures, seminars and group exercises.
Assessment
The course is examined on the basis of a written assignment in the form of a take-home examination.
