School-age Educare: Children, Childhood, Play and Learning

The course is part of the Teacher Education Programme for Primary School, Specialising in School-Age Education and Care.

The course introduces theories about children, childhood, learning and children's play. The mission and values ​​of the school-age educare and school, with a focus on gender equality and equity perspectives, as well as the importance of social norms in the school-age educare and school environment are the main areas of the course.

Furthermore, the course deals with human rights, fundamental democratic values ​​and the conditions for a socially sustainable learning environment.

The language of instruction is Swedish.







The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course. We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course, your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course.
