Introduction to Child and Youth Studies

The course is part of the Master's Program in Child and Youth Studies.

The course introduces the main field of child and youth studies. The course provides an overview of contemporary childhood and youth studies, especially the "new" childhood research, youth culture research and transition research. You will be introduced to basic concepts and debates within the fields. The course aims for a norm-critical, reflective approach and discusses childhood and the conditions of children and young people.

The course's language of instruction is Swedish.
