Research in Child and Youth Studies

The course is part of the Master's Program in Child and Youth Studies.

The course introduces interdisciplinary theory about children and youth with a focus on contemporary theory formation in social and cultural sciences. The course address specific arenas and institutions important for children and youth, but the primary focus is on central theoretical discussions in the field, especially around socialization, age and generation. Dimensions that make the diversification of children and youth visible, such as ethnicity, sexuality, class and gender, are also addressed.

The course's language of instruction is Swedish.
