Research and Analysis in Child and Youth Studies

The course is part of the Master's Program in Child and Youth Studies.

The course covers different analytical approaches to research material and aims to provide in-depth knowledge of and practical skills in different analytical methods within child and youth studies. In the course, you will individually try to carry out different types of scientific analysis and reflect on how analytical methods, materials and scientific purpose formulations and questions are related. You will also practice how to write up your analyses and analytical findings, results and conclusions. The course also covers theorizing and theory development. Questions about researcher reflexivity, research quality and ethics are addressed throughout the course.

The course's language of instruction is Swedish.
