Advanced Academic Reading and Writing

The course is part of the Master's Program in Child and Youth Studies.

The course aims to create an understanding of the complexity of academic reading and writing. The course deepens your ability to identify, read, critically review and reproduce scientific texts in a constructive and argumentative way. In addition, you deepen your ability to independently produce, assess and discuss academic texts, and increase your understanding of the relationship between reading, writing and knowledge production.

The course has a focus on your own reading and writing, with the aim of contributing to a reflexive, conscious and ethical approach to knowledge production. In the course, all students continuously review, comment on and discuss each other's texts, as great importance is placed on the ability to give and take constructive criticism.

The course's language of instruction is Swedish.
