Combining large scale life-science data with artificial intelligence is crucial for the continued progression of our understanding of the molecular processes that govern life. We propose developing novel deep-learning methods to provide an unprecedented accurate description of the human proteome.

About me

I am a PhD candidate in Protein Bioinformatics and Deep Learning in Arne Elofsson's group at Science for Life Laboratory. I am a graduate with a Masters in Science (M.Sc.) in Health Informatics from Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. I have a background in Biotechnology Engineering (B.Tech.) from Manipal Institute of Technology, India. My interdisciplinary background gives me broad insights in the fields of protein bioinformatics, healthcare as well as information technology and data science.

Research

My research interests include structural protein bioinformatics and sub-cellular localization. I am currently working on using deep learning techniques to predict the sub-cellular localization of proteins.
