Research group

Science Education Equity

In our research group we are interested in exploring issues of inclusion–exclusion and participation in science education, both in formal and informal learning contexts. The group has a particular interest in minoritised learners of science, and an emphasis on the physical sciences.

About me

I am an educated preschool teacher with a master's degree in teaching and learning (didaktik). Since january 2022 I am a Ph.D-student in science education within the research school RelMaS 2. I also teach courses in the teacher education programme for primary school teachers grade F-3 and 4-6, as well as courses in the preschool teacher programme at the Department of Child- and Youth Studies.

In my research I am focusing on the youngest children in preschool and their scientific explorations. 

The main supervisor of the project is Anna Danielsson and the co-supervisors are Anna Günther-Hanssen and Eleanor Armstrong.
