Lena Norberg

About me

I am a teacher in the subject of Human-Computer Interaction at the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences. In that role, I participate as a lecturer, seminar leader, and supervisor as well as supervising Bachelor theses.

I am also responsible for handling reports on suspected plagiarism and cheating, i.e. disciplinary violations against Stockholm University's honor code, for the courses given at the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences.

How technology can support people in different ways is one of my interests. In 2012 - 2015 I conducted a small research project that involved creating a digital prototype that could modulate a text translated into vibrations into Morse code. The target group for the project was people living with deafblindness. The project was named Vibweb. The project resulted in a working prototype and a paper titled "Web Accessibility by Morse Code Modulated Haprics for Deaf-Blind", written by Lena Norberg, Thomas Westin, Peter Mozelius, and Mats Wiklund. The article was published in the International Journal of Child Health and Human Development, among others; Hauppauge Vol. 9, Iss. 3, (2016): 361-369.

The project was also presented at the ICDVRAT 2014 conference.
