Maja Ekelund Research assistent

Jag arbetar som forskningsassistent inom projektet SeRO: Sexual and Reproductive Outcomes of Violent Crime som fokuserar på hur lokala våldsnivåer kan påverka sexuell och reproduktiv hälsa i Mexiko. Jag har ett brett intresse för hur exponering för våld och väpnad konflikt kan påverkar fertilitet, reproduktiv hälsa, och könsbaserat våld. Jag har tidigare erfarenhet av att studera effekter av väpnad konflikt i kontexten Uganda.

I work as a research assistant within the project SeRO: Sexual and Reproductive Outcomes of Violent Crime that focuses on how local community violence may shape sexual and reproductive health in Mexico. Broadly I am interested in how violence and armed conflict may affect fertility, reproductive health, and gender based violence. I have previous experience in studying effects of armed conflict in the context of Uganda.
