About me
I have a PhD in Sociology and am employed as Senior Lecturer in Social Work with a focus on Social Welfare, Sociology, and Research Methods. I defended my thesis (monograph) at Uppsala University in 2021 with the title "Managing Vulnerability. Everyday Interaction in Sheltered Accommodations".
I previously held position as Senior Lecturer in Sociology at Mälardalen University (2021), and I was employed as Postdoctoral Researcher in Sociology with a focus on Working Life and Social Welfare between the spring of 2022 and fall of 2024, also at Mälardalen University.
I am a member of several research networks:

I also supervise BA thesis students in Social Work.
My main research interest concerns health and social care work and the provision of support, particularliy within disability services. I am interested in studying the organisation and implementation of welfare services, as well as problems and opportunities for change that arise in everyday care contexts and encounters between service users and staff.
In general terms, my research engages with different areas of study, including professional health and social care, social welfare, work and organisation, and Disability Studies.
