Quantitative Criminology

The Quantitative Criminology Research Group was established in 2022. An interest in quantitative methods in criminology – its possibilities and limitations – is what unites the group.

Green Criminology

The Green Criminology Group was established in 2022 by researchers and PhD students at the Department of Criminology at Stockholm University. The group is united in an interest in crime and harm against animals and nature, which includes - but is not limited to - environmentally harmful emissions, crimes in the food industry and global deforestation.

About me

PhD student at the Department of Criminology since 2023.


The overall subject of my PhD project is corporate crime. This subject is undertaken by examining the penalty of corporate fine, and the companies given this penalty in the years 2012-2022. Firstly, descriptive analysis is carried out, regarding the extent of the penalty, its size variation and its distribution across crime types. Secondly, possible risk factors linked to companies' risk of committing crimes are analyzed. Thirdly, the companies' recidivism risk is examined with a focus on the possible effect of the penalty.
