Committee for Work Environment, Equal Opportunities and Environment

The Department's Committee for Work Environment, Equal Opportunities and Environment (ALM) consists of the head of department (chair), the environmental representative and the safety representative. The group also includes representatives for bachelor and master students, doctoral students, technical and administrative staff, teachers and researchers.

The committee is an advisory body to the head of department and the department board and meets several times a year. The task is, among other things, to prepare the departmental equality plan, environmental policy and environmental action plan. The group also carries out activities that are specified in the plans and monitor the development.
