The recruitment group has decided to put forward Professor Hans Adolfsson, current President at Umeå University, to be presented to the consultative assembly as proposed candidate for the position of new President at Stockholm University.
It has been a long time since the debate was as intense as now on issues of academic freedom and the role and responsibility of higher education institutions.
On June 4 at 10:00 am, Stockholm University will arrange an open hearing in Aula Magna where the final candidate(s) for the position of new university President will present themselves.
