Research seminars
Higher Research Seminar
The Higher Research Seminar (i.e. "Allmänna seminariet") is the main collective seminar of the Department. The research staff and invited national and international leading scholars present and discuss ongoing research. (Convenors: Ludvig Norman, Hans Agné and Makieu Betts)
Comparative Politics Seminar
The Comparative Politics seminar series covers ongoing research in the field of comparative politics, broadly understood. The format is "brown bag lunch", and everything from grant applications and drafts to manuscripts near publication are being presented, followed by comments and questions from the group. The spirit is positive and constructive. (Convenor: Jan Teorell)
EPPLE Seminar
The EPPLE Seminar is a seminar series that is arranged within the framework of one of the department's research areas Environmental Politics, Policy and Learning. (Convenors: Ayşem Mert and Maria-Therese Gustafsson)
Global and Regional Governance Seminar (GRG)
The Global and Regional Governance Seminar is the department's main forum for presenting research in progress on issues related to global and regional governance in a broad sense. (Convenors: Jonas Tallberg, Karin Sundström and Carl Vikberg)
Political Theory Seminar
The Political Theory seminar is a seminar series that focuses on contemporary debates in political theory and political philosophy, where research in progress is presented and discussed, on issues in for example democratic theory and justice theory. (Convenor: Ludvig Beckman)
Politics and Public Administration Seminar (POF)
Politics and Public Administration (POF) is the department's seminar series for new and ongoing research in public administration, policy studies and Swedish politics. (Convenors: Marta Reuter and Martin Qvist).
