Lena Neuland Foundation Scholarships

Welcome to apply for the Lena Neuland Foundation scholarships! The total available amount that the Lena Neuland Foundation can distribute in 2025 is 215 000 Swedish Kronor.

The scholarships are intended for scholars and researchers, preferably with a doctoral degree.

The mission of the Foundation is to promote research focusing on Latvian culture, Latvian language, Latvian religious history and Latvian folklore.

Scholarships can be applied for to carry out research work using archives, museums and libraries, as well as to finance work-related business trips and publication expenses. Scholarships can also be applied for participation in a conference related to the topic.

Scholarship applications should preferably be written in Latvian. They are also accepted in Swedish, English and German. Please use the attached form.

Applications should be sent to stiftelsen.lenaneuland@balt.su.se no later than April 15th. The results will be announced in summer.

The scholarships are intended for the period until June 30, 2026.

Lūdzam pieteikties uz Lienes Neulandes fonda stipendijām!

Kopējā pieejamā summa Lienes Neulandes fondā 2025. gadā ir 215 000 zviedru kronas.

Stipendijas paredzētas zinātniekiem, priekšroku dodot zinātniekiem ar doktora grādu.

Fonda uzdevums ir veicināt zinātni, kas saistīta ar latviešu kultūru un valodu, kā arī latviešu reliģijas vēsturi un folkloru.

Uz stipendijām var pieteikties pētnieciska darba veikšanai, izmantojot arhīvus, muzejus un bibliotēkas, kā arī lai finansētu ar darbu saistītos komandējumus un publikāciju izdevumus. Uz stipendijām var pieteikties arī tad, ja plānota dalība ar tēmu saistītā konferencē.

Stipendiju pieteikumus vēlams rakstīt latviešu valodā. Tos pieņem arī zviedru, angļu un vācu valodā. Lūdzam izmantot pievienoto formulāru. Pieteikumi sūtāmi uz adresi stiftelsen.lenaneuland@balt.su.se ne vēlāk kā 15. aprīlī. Rezultāti tiks paziņoti 2025. g. vasarā.

Stipendijas paredzētas laika posmam līdz 2026. gada 30. jūnijam.
