Take a break from your studies and reload your brain and body with meditation. Welcome to Student Health Services guided meditation and mindfulness on Thursdays!
Research has shown the many benefits of meditation when it comes to your health. It can also be an effective way of reducing stress and help you to be more present and relaxed in your daily life.
Every Thursday lunch we offer you a moment of guided meditation. During 30 minutes we will introduce you to some basic tools for meditation and mindfulness in an easy and fun way. “Open Group” means that new participants can join the group during the whole period.
The group is aimed at all students who are curious about meditation and would like to start their own meditation practice. You do not need to have any previous experience to participate. The instructor of the group is a meditation teacher and has practiced meditation for over 12 years.
I felt very welcome and liked the mindfulness exercises. It felt accessible for people without a lot of experience.
