Location: The Laboratory for Perception Research and Psychophysics at the Department of Psychology, Stockholm

Visit researchers in experimental psychology at Gösta Ekman's laboratories at Stockholm University. Among other things, the researchers study unconscious learning and the brain's information processing when localizing sounds.

Location: The Laboratory for Perception Research and Psychophysics at the Department of Psychology, Stockholm University, Albanovägen 12, House 4, floor 3, zone P/Q.

The visits last 45 minutes. Maximum 12 participants each visit.
Registration is required. Will open soon!

There will also be visits 6 October at 17:00 (Swedish) and 7 October 14:00 (English) and 17:00 (Swedish).

Gösta Ekman's laboratories

At Gösta Ekman's laboratories, Stockholm University, research is conducted into how humans experience the world around us using the senses of sight, hearing and smell. Among other things, the researchers study the psychological effects of noise, how the sense of smell can be used to detect dementia, how blind people can learn to navigate with the help of other senses and how people with spider phobia can wean themselves from strong emotional reactions. There are specially adapted experimental rooms for advanced scent exposure, sound reproduction, and recording of brain activity and eye movements.
