From Idea to Impact – Welcome to Stockholm University's First Innovation Day

Do you have an idea you'd like to develop? Want to understand how your research can create societal impact? Then Innovation Day is for you.

On June 17, the Innovation Office at Stockholm University invites you to a half-day event filled with inspiration, knowledge, and tangible opportunities for everyone working or studying at SU. Whether you're just getting started with an idea or already thinking about how to turn your results into real-world applications, there's something here for you.

“Innovation doesn't have to be about new technology – it's about ideas and how you develop them. And now we have a day for that,” says Ivo Todorov, Innovation Advisor at SU.

 

From Idea to Reality

During the day, you'll meet innovation advisors, funders, and experts who will inspire you to make your research useful. You’ll also hear real impact stories – accounts of how researchers have taken the leap from theory to practice.

“We’ve gathered a wide range of impact stories – some from our own researchers, others from key players essential to turning research into benefit,” says Martin Arvidsson, Research Officer at SU.

“Even the best idea is nothing without the right funding,” Martin Arvidsson reminds us, and continues:

“Turning your results into impact is a science of its own. In just half a day, we’ll guide you through the challenges that lie ahead.”
