Psycho- and Neurolinguistic Perspectives on Multilingualism

The course aims to provide advanced theoretical knowledge of multilingualism from a psycholinguistic, neurolinguistic, and neurocognitive perspective—its central questions, methods, and findings.

Some of the most important issues include the role of age of acquisition in language acquisition, cross-linguistic influence, individual differences, and the relationship between language and cognition. These topics are examined in light of current theoretical models of multilingual language representation and processing.

This course is a part of Master's Programme in Multilingualism and Second Language Acquisition. You can also apply for the course as a free standing course.
