Pedagogical Perspectives on AI and Education
The course aims to address pedagogical perspectives on artificial intelligence (AI) and its relevance för learning and development.
The use of AI in different educational contexts is analysed and problematised. Pedagogical, ethical and practical challenges are highlighted, as well as strategies to handle them. During the course, current research on AI and its applications in education is processed.
The course is delivered entirely online, with scheduled sessions held via Zoom.
Course instruction
Once the course has commenced, Stockholm University’s web-based learning platform, Athena, will be used for course information, assignments, and submissions.
Reading guidelines, study guide, a detailed course schedule, and other relevant materials will be made available on the course’s Athena page. Students who have been admitted, activated their university accounts, and registered for the course will automatically be granted access to the Athena page.

Assessment
The course is assessed through a digital take-home examination conducted via the Inspera exam platform.
