Statistics and data analysis II

The course consists of two parts. The first part deepens the multiple regression in the course Statistics and Data Analysis I to, among other things, non-linear regression with modern techniques from machine learning to avoid overfitting of data. Furthermore, regression models with binary and count variables as responses are introduced. A large amount of space is given to models and methods for analyzing time series data. In the second part, you will learn how to collect new and better data through, for example, sample surveys.
