Places to study
At Stockholm University you’ll find many study spaces – from quiet study areas and reading rooms to group rooms and open spaces where you can work together.
This page gives an overview of study places at Campus Albano and Campus Frescati.
Albano
At Albano there are study spaces adapted for different tasks and needs. Buildings 1, 2 and 4 are connected on floors 2 and 3, making it easy to move between them.
Different zones for studying and relaxation
Choose your space based on what you want to do.
Focus (blue)
Sit here if you want to work undisturbed and concentrate. The spaces have comfortable chairs, desks with screens, and options to shield yourself from the surroundings. Please keep your phone on silent mode.
Social (orange)
Choose a social zone if you want to meet others, discuss, have lunch, or work in a group. Here you’ll find sofas, dining areas, and spaces for spontaneous meetings.
Creative (cerise)
These spaces are designed for creative work and free thinking. Flexible furniture and open writing surfaces are available.
Relaxation and reflection (green)
Take a break between lectures and classes in the green zone. Comfortable seating, greenery, daylight, and a calm atmosphere make it easy to rest and reflect.
