The term of office for Stockholm University’s current Vice President, Professor Clas Hättestrand, expires on 30 June 2025, and the process of finding a successor is now underway. The Vice President serves in the President’s place when she or he is not on duty.
The recruitment group has created a requirement profile for the qualifications that are requested, and the last day for submitting applications and to nominate is February 7th.
The recruitment group will conduct interviews during the spring and select the candidate(s) to be presented to the Consultative Assembly, representing teachers, employees, and students. After receiving the Assembly’s opinion, the recruitment group will submit their proposal to the University Board. The Board then makes the decision to appoint the Vice President.
