About me
My PhD project aims to improve our understanding on the temperature-responses of atmospheric aerosol loadings and aerosol-cloud interactions. I am focusing particularly on new particle formation (NPF) processes taking place in the upper troposphere (UT) and their resulting impacts on climate. This includes the key processes affecting NPF in UT, such as the emission of precursors, their transport to higher altitudes by convective updrafts, the formation of new particles from the precursors and then their removal and downward transport via different mechanisms. I combine modelling and experiments to study these processes.
My PhD program is part of the EU project CLOUD (https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/101073026).
