About me
I’m a PhD-student and environmental chemist working on the degradation of organic pollutants in aquatic environments. My research focuses on understanding biodegradation, an important but highly varied process for contaminant removal. By combining analytical chemistry, biogeochemistry, and microbiology we hope to uncover the environmental factors which give rise to this variation. We hope these insights could aid in the identification of volunerable systems and allow us to better utilizes the inherent self-cleaning capacity of the environment to battle contamination.
I’m always interested in opportunities for collaboration, to answer questions, or to hear about any other situations where my skills could be of use, so feel free to contact me if there is anything you would like to discuss!
