About me
Since 2017, I am a researcher in the National Education Panel Study (NEPS) at the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB) and doctoral student at the Freie Universität Berlin. I hold a BA in Social Sciences (University of Augsburg) and a MA in Sociology (University of Potsdam).
My research interests include family sociology, social inequality and educational research. More specifically, my dissertation focuses on the influence of family life on children's (school) performance. The focus is mainly on the perspective of children and how they perceive their family life. For this I use data from the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS) and The German Family Panel (pairfam).
