About me

I am a researcher at the Department of Geological Sciences at Stockholm University. I am funded by the Swedish Research Council for Sustainable Development (FORMAS) through a four-year early-career researcher grant. I investigate the impact of past climatic events during the Holocene (i.e., the last 11,700 years) on the terrestrial environment, with a particular focus on coastal northwest Europe. In addition to my research, I am involved with the Bolin Centre for Climate Research, where I serve as a junior co-leader of the Research Theme ‘Past Climates’ (RT3) and as a council member of the Bolin Early-Career Researchers Network.

My background is in Geology. I obtained my PhD from the University of Aix-Marseille in France, where I studied the short- and long-term behaviour and earthquake cycle of a fault system located at the border of the eastern Tibetan Plateau in China. I pursued a postdoc fellow position at Trinity College Dublin and the Irish Centre for Research in Applied Geosciences (iCRAG). There, I worked in geochemistry and developed analytical tools for the fission-track thermochronometer.
