About me
I work as lab manager of the Mass spectrometry lab. My background is in Environmental Chemistry focused on organic compounds. After completing a PhD in Environmental Science at Lancaster University (UK) I worked at the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology (UK) and at the Norwegian Institute for Air Research. I enjoy lending support to colleagues, students and collaborators in producing the high-quality analytical data required for successful research.
Research
My own research has focused on persistent environmental organic pollutants and substances with similar properties. For other research projects I have carried out analyses of a wide range of organic compounds.
On-going projects
I am here to help researchers with all aspects of chemical analyses using mass spectrometry. I look after the instruments in the Mass lab, assist anybody who works with them, and generally keep the lab a safe, organized and welcoming place for all users.
While I will not lead my own projects I am very happy to be involved and assist in the analytical aspect of a broad range of projects in different research fields.
