About me

I am a PhD candidate in Art History since January 2024. Previously I have worked at the Hallwyl museum, Nationalmuseum and the Division for Historic Houses Collections at the National Historical Museums. My project "Bara stjärnorna sätter en gräns för hans rykte" Ära, minne och praktik: adliga gravmonument under 1600-talets andra hälft, revolves around late 17th and early 18th century funerary monuments for the aristocracy. I investigate these as formulations of identity and regard perspectives of the comissioner and the social milieu as well as the monuments' iconography, materiality and spatiality. The project is theoretically situated in the fields of materiality, performativity and memory studies.
