About me
I am a Ph.D. student in sociology. I hold a B.Sc. double major in Economic History and Sociology from Stockholm University.
Research
My dissertation aims to expand the curiously meager sociological understanding of social life online. This regards assessing the intricacies of computer-mediated interaction, as well as its position in contemporary society. The first part of the project will examine patterns in socioeconomic background and media use among children and parents.
I recently worked on a research project led by prof. Karin Helmersson Bergmark, where we studied the phenomenon of problematic internet use, focusing on excessive computer gaming.
