About me

I am a terrestrial ecologist and focus my research on predation processes, the biology and management of mammalian carnivores, and on functional aspects of biodiversity, particularly in Arcic environments. I use a combination of empirical and theoretical methods to approach these topics. Apart from being academically active at Stockholm University, I am a tenured researcher for the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), where I am based at the Biodiversity Research Institute. I am also associated with the Mammal Research Institute in South Africa.
