Daniel Seldén

About me

Daniel Seldén is a Researcher and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Sociology and Work Science, the University of Gothenburg. His recent research focuses on factors affecting prolonged working life for the older workforce and living conditions in old age. In particular he is interested in the interplay among biological, psychological, and social aging processes. Since 2014 Daniel is part of the research group LEXLIV at the Centre for Ageing and Health, AgeCap, http://agecap.gu.se/.

Apart from conducting his own research Daniel Seldén looks forward to engage in the exiting and dynamic research environment at the Department of Sociology during his stay. Especially he hopes to contribute to discussions on integrative perspectives on aging and labour market exit.
