Research
Happiness, consumption and childhood are key components in my research - published in international journals, and also in my Ph.D. dissertation (2015), Family theme parks, happiness and children’s consumption: From roller-coasters to Pippi Longstocking.
With an interdisciplinary background (cultural studies and sociology), I am inspired by work in critical theory, STS and the sociology of childhood. Current interests: happiness (theory and concepts), leisure studies, corporations and the business of childhood, leadership.
