About me
As an engineer/technician at the Department of Geological Sciences and the Baltic Sea Center my task is to support prominent research related to the arctic ocean and the Baltic sea.
I work primarily with marine acoustic instruments (multi beam sonars, midwater sonars, sub-bottom profilers, marine seismic surveying equipment) and infrastructure such as the research vessel Electra at the Askö Laboratory.
I have a background in Naval Architecture and have been involved in the development of several maritime robotic platforms for scientific applications. In 2023, I completed my PhD studies in underwater communication and networking at the Royal Intitute of Technology in Stockholm. My thesis project was part of the Swedish Maritime Robotics Center (SMaRC), an interdisciplinary research center funded by the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Reseach.
