About me
I have a long-standing interest in understanding and modeling different processes relating to sustainable development and climate change. Previous studies involve environmental technology, environmental economics, and sustainable development. In previous projects, I have focused on the topics of carbon sequestration, evaluating of the first/last mile problem in public transport, and mapping potential changes to Arctic wetlands given different climate change scenarios. Currently, I'm focusing on understanding the changes and drivers behind hydroclimatic changes and human conflict.

My main research involves hydroclimate change and water-related human conflicts. My goal is to increase the understanding of how water, climate, and conflict relate to each other, especially concerning hydroclimatic changes. This involves an understanding of hydroclimatic changes and their drivers (human interventions or climate change) across the globe as well as if and how specific human conflicts are related to water.
I am a Ph.D. student at the Department of Physical Geography in the research unit Water, Permafrost and Environmental systems (WPE) My main supervisor is Zahra Kalantari. I am also a member of the Bolin Centre for Climate Research in research area 3 "Hydrosphere, Cryosphere and Climate" and 7 "Landscape processes and climate".
