I received Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry from the Qilu University of Technology in 2020, then continued to do a master’s degree study at Aalto University, Finland. During my master’s thesis work, I started to work more often with bio-based renewable materials such as lignin, cellulose, hemicellulose, etc. In 2022, I completed my master’s degree program and joined Prof. Mika Sipponen’s group to do PhD study.
I will do my PhD study in the field of materials chemistry under the guidance of Prof. Mika Sipponen.
The CIRCULIG project aims to revolutionize the use of lignin by creating circular lignin materials with functional properties derived from well-defined nanostructures.
Inspired by the natural protective function of tree bark, the BarkBuild project aims to develop new wood treatment formulations and bark-based composites for wood building materials.
